The top scoop on the left is the factory original.
The bottom scoop shows the modification.
It works a lot better if you clip out every other bar with a small pair of
wire cutters making the
holes twice as large to let the pine pellets fall through much faster.
Be careful when clipping the bars....the plastic breaks easily! To allow easy scooping of smaller solids which may fall through the enlarged holes, four of the bars were not removed at the low point on the left side of the scoop. If you are left-handed, leave in the corresponding bars on the right side of the scoop. |
